Use the Write About App/Website (writeabout.com) to create digital writing for classrooms. A community where students engage in high-interest writing for an authentic audience and teachers help students grow through the entire writing process.
- Search a category that you would like to write about or create your own prompt.
- Tap the pencil to begin writing your story. For younger writers, they may use the microphone to tell their stories. The computer will type the story as the student talks.
- You may also choose to do a quick write. With this feature, you take a picture of something on your own and then write a story about it.
- Students may save pictures/stories to the gallery so that other students may view it.
