SUTORI

Formerly known as HSTRY, Sutori is the easiest way to create and share your story. Create, engage and explore timelines using SUTORI. SUTORI allows you to teach about historical events and people using already created timelines.  It also allows your students to create their own timelines, showing you, the teacher, what they have learned.

Step 1: go to www.sutori.com

Step 2: Login using your Google account

Step 3: In the ‘My Classes’ section under the ‘Teach’ tab, click on the box ‘Add a class’.

Next, you can enter the class name, the subject and the grade level. Press the ‘Create Class’ button and you’ll be good to go!

Step 4:Once you have created your class, time to enroll your students!

You may have noticed the blue five digit code to the right of the screen when on the newly created class. Take note of it.

Step 5: Send your students to https://www.sutori.com for them to sign-up. They can sign in using their Google accounts. Once they have registered, they will be able to join a class with the code you have provided them. There is a check once they have input the class code to make sure students don’t join the wrong class. They will then immediately be part of your class(es), although you may need to refresh the page to see their names appear.
