Screencastify

With Screencastify, you can record up to 10 minutes per video (which will have an embedded Screencastify logo) and make up to 50 recordings each month. It would be great to use in a flipped classroom, to present an assignment/task on day with a substitute, or give students extra help.

1. Create a free account at screencastify.com
2. Install the screencastify extension from the Chrome Store
3. Create video by clicking on the screencastify extension.  Follow the on-screen instructions to set-up your camera/microphone.
4. Now you’re ready to create your presentation.  
   1. Click the screencastify extension
   2. Select to record your desktop or tab
   3. Be sure your microphone & camera option are correct
   4. Click record — there will be a countdown and the recording will begin
   5. When finished, press stop.  It will be automatically uploaded into your Google Drive.
   6. Then you can share your screencastify link with your class.
