Lego WeDo 2.0

Want to know if Lego WeDo 2.0 is right for you and your classroom?  Watch the following video that will give you a rundown of what is possible with Lego WeDo 2.0.  

1. Check out a Lego WeDo 2.0 kit and Curriculum Pack from the elementary library.  This guide will walk you through step-by-step from loading the software to putting together the various robots.  The LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 curriculum pack is built on Next Generation Science Standards and delivers key science content to second through fourth grade students. The curriculum facilitates and supports a clear, easy-to-follow journey through subjects, including: life-, physical-, earth- and space sciences, and engineering. Features 17 projects totaling more than 40 hours of instructional content.  Loads of videos that prompt your students thinking as well!
2. Set aside an hour and try the Getting Started Project as if you were a student.  Time to Build Milo, the Science Rover (p. 41-45).  Build the model from the provided building instructions.  Program the model with the sample program.  If you choose, experiment with the parameters or discover new programming blocks on your own.  
3. Take a photo/video of Milo in action and upload it to earn your Badge.
